About Quiz & Trivia Games

Quiz games are the fastest way to find out how much you really know. A question appears, the clock starts, and the answer is either on the tip of your tongue or it isn't. Gamefinity's quiz and trivia games turn that into quick rounds you can play in your browser in a couple of minutes, with no download and no sign-up.

Capital Sprint is a world capitals quiz against a 90-second clock. A country appears on the question card, four capital cities appear under it, and you pick the right one; later in the round the question flips, naming a capital and asking which country it belongs to. Every round opens with famous capitals and works its way to the ones only real map fans know, and the wrong answers always come from the same continent, so every question is a fair test rather than a giveaway. A wrong answer costs three seconds and shows the right one in green, so you learn as you play.

Speed counts as much as knowledge. Harder questions are worth more, a streak of right answers multiplies your points up to four times, and a speed bonus rewards answering in the first few seconds, so the leaderboards show who knows their capitals under pressure. Every ranked result is verified by replaying the run on our servers before it is listed.

Capital Sprint is also one of our geography games, and quiz games pair naturally with our word games and brain games. If you would rather test your reflexes than your memory, the quick games tag has plenty of one-minute rounds. And for a fresh challenge every day, the daily challenge gives every player the same three games and one attempt to set a score.

Frequently asked questions

  • Are the quiz games free?

Yes. All quiz and trivia games on Gamefinity are free to play in your browser, with no download or account.

  • How are quiz scores calculated?

In Capital Sprint each right answer is worth 100 to 250 points depending on its difficulty, multiplied by your streak (up to ×4 from nine in a row), plus a speed bonus of up to 50 points. Wrong answers cost three seconds and reset the streak, but never take points away.

  • Can I play quizzes on my phone?

Yes. Capital Sprint works on phones, tablets and computers: tap an answer on a touch screen, click it with a mouse or press 1 to 4 on a keyboard.
