About Keyboard Games
Sometimes the best controller is the one already in front of you. Keyboard games are made for desktop and laptop players who want precise, responsive controls without reaching for a mouse or a phone, and they are a big part of our PC games. The arrow keys, WASD and the space bar are all most games need, word games use the letter keys, and because keys are digital, every press is instant and exact.
Most games on Gamefinity work fully on the keyboard. In Lane Rush the arrow keys carve between lanes, Space jumps (hold it to fly higher) and the down arrow ducks; in Maze Dash and Merge Minute the arrows dash your ball or slide your tiles; and Neon Breaker lets you steer the paddle with the arrows or A and D. One-button games such as Stackfall and Orbit Hop are played with a single press of Space, and in Drift Circuit every tap of Space (or any arrow key) switches the car's direction. Snake Rush turns with the arrows or WASD, Cloud Hopper steers with the left and right keys, Bubble Barrage aims with the arrows and fires with Space, Putt Rush charges a power meter while you hold Space, and in Summit Solitaire the arrows move a highlight over the cards and Space plays one. In the twin-stick shooter Neon Siege, the keyboard teams up with the mouse: you steer your ship with WASD while you aim with the mouse, and Space dashes you out of trouble. In Hold Fast, E R U I and D F J K hold up to four glowing pads at once, like a rhythm game's chords.
Word games put the whole keyboard to work. Type your guesses in Wordlock, spell words from seven letters in Anagram Blitz or from a square of tiles in Letter Grid, pressing Enter to submit and Backspace to fix a letter, and shoot down falling words in Type Storm, where your words per minute count. The typing games page collects the games built around typing speed, and the word games category has every letter game.
Keyboard play is also perfect for the leaderboards, where tiny differences in timing count. Warm up in free play, then take a Ranked attempt; each top run is verified by replaying your key presses on our servers. For more desktop favourites, browse the arcade games and puzzle games.

Neon Siege pairs WASD with the mouse, and Hold Fast holds its pads on E R U I and D F J K. Pop Pulse, Word Search Rush, Block Fit, Mate in One and Flick Drill need a mouse or touch, and the tilt games Marble Rush and Tilt Glide lean with the arrow keys.
