About Timing Games

Timing games are built on a single, beautiful tension: the right moment is coming, and you have to act exactly then. Too early or too late and you pay for it. The controls are usually as simple as a tap, but the feeling of nailing the perfect moment again and again is one of the most satisfying things in gaming.

Stackfall is timing in its clearest form. A slab slides above your tower; tap to drop it, and anything that overhangs the floor below is cut away. Land three perfect drops in a row and your slab starts to grow back. Orbit Hop asks for a different kind of timing: release your rocket from orbit at the moment its path lines up with the next planet, and let gravity do the rest. In Drift Circuit the timing is a corner: tap just before each bend of a floating zigzag road and the car drifts round it, a moment too late and it slides off the edge.

Timing games reward rhythm, so play a few free rounds to get into the groove before you make a Ranked attempt. Every ranked run is verified by replaying it on our servers, so the leaderboard measures real timing. For more games like these, see the one-button games, skill games and stacking games.

Frequently asked questions

  • What are timing games?

Games where success depends on acting at exactly the right moment, usually with a single tap or key press.

  • How do I get better at timing games?

Find a rhythm. Watch a fixed reference point, like the edge of the floor below in Stackfall, and act when the moving object reaches it.

  • Can I play timing games with the space bar?

Yes. Stackfall and Orbit Hop both accept Space as well as taps and clicks.
