Aim Games
About Aim Games
Aim games are about putting your cursor, or your finger, exactly where it needs to be, exactly when it needs to be there. They are popular with gamers who want to warm up before a match, but you do not need to be a competitive player to enjoy them: few things are as satisfying as a clean streak of perfect hits.
Pop Pulse is our purest aim game: a fireworks show over a night harbour where every tap sets one off. Each firework blooms as a glowing ring that burns down, so the sooner you hit it the more it is worth, and every clean hit in a row builds a combo up to ×5. Big shells need two taps, gold chain shells set off every firework in the sky and comets streak across it, while red duds must be left alone, so accuracy matters as much as speed. The show always runs its full 45 seconds and ends in a grand finale.
For a proper warm-up on a computer, Flick Drill is a full aim trainer for the mouse. One 83-second drill runs through three stages: flick onto pop-up targets before their rings run out (leading the ones that slide on a rail and leaving the blue no-shoot plates alone), hold the button and keep the crosshair on a gliding ball, then pick off small, sometimes sliding targets where a stray click costs 50 points. The results card doubles as a mouse accuracy test, with your click accuracy, average reaction time in milliseconds and tracking percentage. It is Desktop only, because a fingertip covers the very target you are aiming at.
Aiming is not always about speed. In Bubble Barrage you line up each shot with a dotted guide and bank bubbles off the side walls into the gap that pops a whole cluster, and in Putt Rush you pull back from the ball to set the line and the power of a mini golf putt. Both reward a careful angle more than a fast hand.
Aim games reward consistency, which makes them perfect for the leaderboard: every ranked run is replayed on our servers to verify it, so the top scores are genuinely skilful. If you like aim games, you will also enjoy our reaction games and the other skill games that test precision under pressure, from tower stacking to timing launches.
Frequently asked questions
Can aim games help with other games?
Many players use aim games as a warm-up for mouse accuracy. Pop Pulse’s shrinking fireworks, moving comets and red duds reward fast, accurate clicks, and Flick Drill works on flicking, tracking and precision in turn, then shows your accuracy and reaction time.
Do aim games work with a trackpad?
Yes, although a mouse or a touchscreen usually gives the best scores.
How long is a round of Pop Pulse?
45 seconds, followed by a short grand finale. Fireworks that burn out only cost you your combo, never the round.
