How to play Pop Pulse
Fireworks bloom in the sky as glowing rings and burn down; tap or click one to set it off before it fizzles.
Set them off quickly: a firework is worth more the earlier you hit it.
Chain clean hits to climb the combo: ×2 after 5 hits, ×3 after 12, ×4 after 20 and ×5 after 30.
Leave the red duds alone: tapping one costs 250 points and your combo.
Tap big shells twice, set off gold chain shells to fire every firework in the sky, and catch the comets as they fly past.
The show runs for 45 seconds and ends in a grand finale.

Tips
Set off the smallest rings first: they are the ones about to burn out and break your combo.
Do not tap blindly between fireworks; a miss resets your combo just like a dud.
Hold a gold chain shell until three or four other fireworks are up, then tap it to set them all off at once.
Give big shells two quick taps as soon as they appear; they shrink between taps.
A comet is worth double: tap its ring, not its tail, and keep your finger near the middle of the sky so every new firework is a short move away.
About Pop Pulse
Pop Pulse is a fast aim and reaction game set at a fireworks show over a night harbour. Firework shells bloom all over the sky as glowing neon rings and start burning down the moment they appear. Tap or click one and it bursts into a shower of trailing sparks that light up the sky, the hillside town and the water below. The sooner you set a firework off, the more it is worth; leave it too long and it fizzles out.
Every clean hit in a row builds your combo, and the combo multiplies every firework: double points after five hits, then triple, quadruple and finally ×5 after thirty. Tapping empty sky, tapping a red dud or letting a firework burn out drops you back to ×1, so the best scores come from players who stay accurate while the sky fills up. Red duds look like jagged red suns: they cost points and your combo, but if you leave them alone they vanish for free. Like the best aim games, Pop Pulse rewards a steady hand as much as a fast one.
The show adds one new firework at a time, so your first round is easy to follow. Big shells are larger double rings that need two taps: the first cracks them open and the second sets off a huge chrysanthemum. Gold chain shells set off every other firework in the sky at once, and dashed gold fuses show you exactly which ones, so it pays to wait until three or four are up, as long as nothing burns out while you wait. Comets streak across the sky with a long tail and are worth double if you can catch them. The order of the show is the same on every seed, so every round is equally fair and only the positions change.
Each show lasts 45 seconds and always plays to the end: fireworks that burn out cost you your combo, never the round, so even a first-timer reaches the grand finale, when rockets rise from the harbour and fill the sky. The pace keeps climbing, from one calm firework at a time to five at once in the final rush, which makes the last ten seconds a real test of your reaction time. It is a great warm-up for players who want a quick aim trainer, and a fun way to fill a spare minute among our quick games.
On a phone, tap the fireworks; on a computer, click them. A firework goes off the moment your finger lands or the mouse button goes down, and the ring you see is exactly the area that counts. Pop Pulse needs a pointer, so it does not use the keyboard, and it plays the same on mobile and PC. Free play is unlimited, and a Ranked attempt puts one show on the all-time and weekly boards once our servers have replayed and verified it. Pop Pulse is also part of the Warm-up and Marathon gauntlets in Swipe mode, and you will find more games like it among our skill games.

Pop Pulse FAQ
Is Pop Pulse an aim trainer?
It plays like one: shrinking targets, moving comets, a score that rewards speed and a combo that rewards accuracy. It is designed as a quick game rather than a training tool, but many players use it to warm up.
Can I play Pop Pulse with a keyboard?
No. Pop Pulse needs a pointer: tap the fireworks on a touchscreen or click them with a mouse or trackpad.
What are the red fireworks in Pop Pulse?
Duds. The first one appears about eight seconds in, with a label. Tapping one takes 250 points off your score and resets your combo; if you leave it alone it disappears on its own at no cost.
How long is a round of Pop Pulse?
45 seconds of play followed by a short grand finale. Fireworks that burn out only reset your combo, so the show always plays to the end. A round ends early only if you stop tapping for ten seconds.
Is every round of Pop Pulse equally hard?
Yes. Every show brings the same fireworks in the same order and at the same times; only where they appear changes from round to round.
