How to play Stackfall
Watch the slab slide over the top of your tower; taps before it reaches the tower do nothing.
Tap, click or press Space when it lines up with the floor below to drop it.
Any part that overhangs is sliced off, so the next slab is only as big as what landed.
Land three perfect drops in a row and every further perfect drop grows your slab back.
Top a rooftop every 10 floors with a golden slab, and keep stacking until the minute runs out; missing the tower entirely ends the run.

Tips
Watch the edges of the floor below, not the middle of the slab: drop the moment the leading edges line up.
On gust floors let the fast pass go by and drop on the slow one; the slab drifts back gently against the wind.
Golden slabs are worth the patience: a perfect golden drop doubles its bonus and grows the tower back three times as much as a normal perfect.
Protect your streak: from the third perfect drop on, every perfect gives size back, which is worth more than a few rushed floors.
The slabs speed up every four floors and rush floors are faster still; if a slab is moving too fast to read, wait for it to swing back.
About Stackfall
Stackfall is a one-tap 3D stack game about timing and nerve. A square slab slides over the top of your tower, first along one side and then along the other, and a single tap drops it. Whatever hangs over the edge of the floor below is sliced off and tumbles away, so every sloppy drop leaves you a smaller slab to work with. Line it up perfectly and it snaps into place with a bright white flash and a piano note that climbs higher with every perfect drop in a row.
The tower rises over a painted city at sunset. As you climb, the camera follows you past the clouds, the sky turns from orange to dusk and then to a starry night, and skyscrapers stand beside your tower with a numbered flag on every roof. Every tenth floor is a golden slab that tops one of those rooftops: land it and you win a big bonus, land it perfectly and your tower grows back. Between the rooftops the city throws something new at you. On gust floors the wind pushes the slab, so it races one way and drifts slowly back the other, and the smart drop is on the slow pass. On rush floors the slabs come in faster but every floor is worth half as much again.
It is easy to start. Taps before the slab has reached your tower are simply ignored, so an eager first tap never ends a run, and the first slabs move slowly with a generous perfect window and an outline that lights up when a drop would be perfect. The challenge comes later: the slabs speed up every four floors, the perfect window narrows, and a tower that has been shaved down to a sliver leaves almost no margin. From the third perfect drop in a row every perfect grows your slab back, so a good streak is your lifeline.
A round lasts at most one minute, which makes Stackfall one of the quick games you can fit into any break. Floors are worth 100 points (150 on rush floors, 200 for a golden slab), perfect drops add more the longer your streak, and every rooftop you pass adds 500, so a tall tower built from clean drops beats a tall, ragged one. Free play gives you unlimited rounds; when you are ready, press Ranked attempt to put one run on the all-time and weekly leaderboards. Every top score is replayed on our servers before it is shown, so the board only lists real towers.
Stackfall works the same with a mouse, a keyboard or a touchscreen: click or tap anywhere, or press Space, Enter or the down arrow. It is a natural fit if you enjoy one-button games and timing games, and it shares the calm, focused rhythm of our other skill games. In Swipe mode it also opens the Warm-up and Marathon gauntlets, where your tower is only the first test of the run.

Stackfall FAQ
How long does a game of Stackfall last?
At most 60 seconds. A run also ends when a slab misses the tower completely, or after 15 seconds without a tap.
What counts as a perfect drop?
A drop that lands almost exactly on the floor below. It snaps into place, loses nothing, flashes white and plays the next note of your streak. The window is generous on the first floors and narrows as you climb. From the third perfect drop in a row, each one also grows your slab back.
What are golden slabs, gust floors and rush floors?
Every tenth floor is a golden slab that tops a rooftop: it scores double, and a perfect golden drop grows your tower back a lot. Floors 11 to 19, 31 to 39 and so on are gust floors, where the wind makes the slab fast one way and slow the other. Floors 21 to 29, 41 to 49 and so on are rush floors: faster slabs worth 150 points each.
How is my Stackfall score calculated?
100 points per floor (150 on rush floors, 200 for a golden slab), plus 20 points times your streak for each perfect drop (up to 200, doubled on golden slabs), plus 500 for every rooftop you reach. Free-play points use the same par curve as the leaderboard, so you can see how a round compares.
Can I play Stackfall on my phone?
Yes. Tap anywhere on the game to drop a slab. On a phone the player opens full screen when you press Play.
