About Golf Games

Golf games capture the part of golf everyone loves: lining up a shot, judging the power and watching the ball roll toward the hole. Mini golf, also known as putt-putt or crazy golf, is the version that suits a browser best. Every hole is a small puzzle, with rails to bank off and bumpers, windmills and water to get around, and the whole challenge is a well-judged putt rather than a long drive.

Putt Rush is our mini golf game: a fourteen-hole seaside course at sunset, played in order on one two-minute clock, with the holes coming until the time runs out. It starts with a gentle par 2 that every newcomer sinks, then brings in the classics one at a time: rails to bank off, a beach bunker, a red-and-white windmill whose turning sails block the tunnel, a hill that breaks your putt, a stone pond, bumpers, a jump ramp over a creek, a sliding gate and a pipe that drops the ball out near the cup. Pull back from the ball to aim and set the power, watch the dotted line and let go. The ball only drops if it reaches the cup slowly enough, so a gentle putt often beats a hard one. Every hole you sink scores more for fewer strokes, a hole in one earns a bonus, and the leaderboard ranks how far round the course you get and how well you play it.

Golf games on Gamefinity are free in your browser with no download, and they play with touch, mouse or keyboard. For more ball games and trick shots, browse the sports games. Frequently asked questions

  • What is mini golf?

A short form of golf played with a putter on small holes full of obstacles such as rails, bumpers, windmills, sand and water. It is also called putt-putt or crazy golf.

  • How do you putt in Putt Rush?

Press anywhere and drag back away from where you want the ball to go: the direction sets the line and the length of the pull sets the power. Let go to putt. On a keyboard, aim with the arrow keys and hold Space to charge the power meter.

  • Why did my ball roll over the hole?

It was going too fast. The ball only drops when it reaches the cup slowly; a fast ball rattles over the lip and keeps rolling, just like on a real mini golf course.

  • Can I play golf games on my phone?

Yes. Hold your phone sideways, press anywhere and drag your finger back to aim and set the power, then let go to putt. The course scales to fit any screen.
