About Solitaire Games

Solitaire is the card game you play on your own, and for decades it has been the classic quick break on a computer. It comes in many forms: Klondike, where you build columns down in alternating colours; Spider and FreeCell, which reward long-term planning; and the golf and TriPeaks family, where you clear cards from a layout one rank at a time. What they share is a shuffled deck, a handful of simple rules and the quiet satisfaction of watching a messy layout come apart card by card.

Summit Solitaire is our take on TriPeaks solitaire. Twenty-eight cards form three mountain peaks, and you clear them by playing any face-up card one rank higher or lower than the card on the waste pile, whatever its suit. The Ace and the King connect, so a run can climb from Queen to King to Ace. The cards you can play glow, every card you play in a row raises a streak multiplier up to ×10, and drawing from the deck resets it, so the skill is in choosing the order that keeps a run alive. A new deal arrives the moment one is cleared or stuck, and the whole game fits into a two-minute clock.

Solitaire games on Gamefinity are free in your browser with nothing to download, and they play by touch, mouse or keyboard. Ranked runs are replayed on our servers before they reach the leaderboard, so every score was really played. For more games with a deck of cards, see the card games category. Frequently asked questions

  • What kind of solitaire is Summit Solitaire?

TriPeaks: 28 cards in three overlapping peaks, a stock and a waste pile, and you remove any face-up card one rank above or below the waste card. Summit Solitaire adds a two-minute clock, streak multipliers and a fresh deal whenever one ends.

  • Do suits matter in TriPeaks solitaire?

No. Only the rank counts: any card one higher or one lower than the waste card can be played, whatever its suit or colour. The Ace and the King connect, so runs can loop from Queen through King and Ace to Two.

  • Can I play solitaire on my phone?

Yes. Summit Solitaire plays with the phone held sideways: tap a card to play it and tap the deck to draw. On a computer, click with the mouse or use the arrow keys to pick a card and Space to play it.

  • Is it free to play?

Yes. Every solitaire game on Gamefinity is free in your browser, with no download and no account needed.
