About Survivor Games
In a survivor game you are alone against a horde that never stops growing, and the goal is simply to last: until the timer runs out, until the boss falls or until dawn breaks. Enemies come from every direction, you level up from what they drop, and each level-up offers a choice of weapons and upgrades. The early minutes are calm and the last ones are chaos, so every run tells a small story, and the next run always feels like it could go further. Players often call these games survivors-likes, after the hit that made the format famous.
Emberloop is our survivor game, free in your browser on a phone or a computer. You are a firefly lantern-keeper holding back the Gloom through a night in the meadow. Your weapons fire on their own, so a newcomer gets through the opening waves, and the real skill is the loop: close your ember trail around the swarm and everything inside it flares. Survive the ten minutes of Meadow Sprint to reach dawn, or play Meadow Night to its dawn at thirty minutes and then choose to hold the dark, where a new rule arrives every five minutes for as long as you last.
